I started the run at 9 AM after coming off a group call with the Lytbox Community. The sun was out, and the sky was clear after heavy rain yesterday. I put on a 40-minute run on Nike Run Club and headed to the nearby park. The run started off with easy effort and became faster as time went on. The rash on my foot, mentioned in the previous run, no longer bothers me, as I’m wearing my UltraBoost, which is way more comfortable.
It’s always nice to work out in the morning and get an early check on my habit list. It also fills me with a sense of achievement and energy for the rest of the day. I drank a lot of water and had a great breakfast afterward. Today’s guided run featured the stories of Mike and Duy, their love-hate views of running, and how they co-founded the Korea Town Run Club. It covered how running has helped them in their personal lives and impacted the members of their running group. The guided run was pretty funny and lighthearted. Running isn’t always easy, and you don’t need to love it every time. Just remind yourself why you run, how it impacts you, what you do, how it helps you not just physically but mentally, how it strengthens your relationship with those you love, and how it benefits your community.
I covered 7.2 km in 45 minutes, with an average pace of 6:32 per km and an average heart rate of 156 bpm. I’m feeling better and refreshed, ready to tackle the rest of the day with strong spirits.
