Once your website is launched, Google will collect real user data and determine if your website passes Core Web Vitals. This is very important for websites that want to rank higher on Google. You can check it by visiting PageSpeed Insights.
Tips to Pass Core Web Vitals
- Build the website properly.
- Minimize the DOM and file size to reduce loading time. Consider optimizing images, JavaScript, CSS, and fonts.
- Use good and reliable hosting.
- Choose a lightweight theme and minimize plugins on a site.
- Use optimization plugins for caching and avoid fake ones that trick Google.
What to Do If Your Website Fails Core Web Vitals
- Determine the condition of the website, how it is built, and whether it needs redevelopment.
- Get better hosting and use a CDN to improve page speed.
- Use Google PageSpeed Insights as a guide to fix or troubleshoot issues.
Since Google collects real user data and refreshes every 28 days, don’t stress yourself out if you don’t see changes immediately in the reports.
