Have you tried Comet Browser by Perplexity AI

Date posted: October 11, 2025

This is the first time I’m excited by a product that adopts AI in my day-to-day workflow in such an intuitive way. I know about the Comet browser from Perplexity, thanks to a discussion with Jeffrey at Lytbox during one of our weekly group calls. I tried it out and was thoroughly impressed.

First, it can import settings, plugins, and bookmarks from your existing browser profile. Second, it has an AI assistant built into the browser itself, which I can chat with via prompts. The AI can look through the page and take action on it in real time (!!)—like filling out forms, clicking buttons, looking for information, giving summaries, or looking through the content and code to perform an SEO audit (cross-referencing with other free tools and websites from the internet), checking the tech stack, and more.

I’ve used Comet’s AI assistant to help me look through the media folder of my personal website and fill out the alt text—a very tedious task from the SEO checklist that I always dread. Of course, the content isn’t always correct since it’s still AI, but it was pretty close, and I only needed to make a few adjustments. This has definitely saved me a ton of time and effort compared to going through each image and coming up with the alt text for every one. I’m really looking forward to seeing what else I can utilize this for to make my workflow faster and more efficient. Automating SEO tasks for my website projects is at the top of my list. I’ve always thought that SEO is something that should be automated or handled by AI—we should just create and write content as we wish and search engines should deliver it straight to our target audience. I also understand that it isn’t that simple, which is why we need professionals in the field to help with that.
